Ready for a new album from the peas?
Remember last summer when Fergie announced her new album with the YG-assisted single L.A. Love? Well, fans of The Dutchess may have to wait a little longer for her next effort, as her longtime musical partners The Black Eyed Peas have reunion plans for later this year. Last weekend at Coachella, The Peas (minus Fergie) joined David Guetta on stage to perform a new track entitled “Awesome.” While the live crowd was taken back from the surprise visit, the Los Angeles group is planning to release their first official album since the 2010 effort, The Beginning.
Front man will.i.am teased the group was planning to share new music sometime this year, but David Guetta has revealed he’s producing a large portion of the project in an interview with askmen.com. With summer nearing, look for details regarding the untitled LP and possibly the official reunion single to surface in the coming weeks.
