RIP Sam Cooke
In a surprise turn of events, The-Dream is sharing an EP with his fans today, featuring all Sam Cooke covers. On Instagram, he revealed that it was actually recorded dating back to 2010 during the sessions for Beyonce’s 4 album. The project is also a tribute to his mother, who passed away back in 1992.
My Mother loved a lot of Artist growing up, but the one we shared the most interest in together was Sam Cooke, so Tonight I give him back to her.”
IAMSAM is an 8-track effort that should have some gems in it. We’ve been wanting a new Terius Nash effort and he has hit us off right in time for Christmas. Stream it in full below.
