Compton Chuck reveals a rare tale with TMZ
Before The Game landed a deal with Dr. Dre and joined G-Unit in 2002, he was originally a Bad Boy (see: The Documentary). The Los Angeles rapper was being managed at one point by Puff Daddy and envisioned himself of signing with the legendary record label. Surprisingly, when his fellow Compton cohort approached him about landing the Aftermath deal, Chuck Taylor opened up on a rare parting gift he gave to Mr. Sean Combs. The Harlem mogul could’ve blocked any deal between the two but allowed Game to spread his wings back out West, as he explains above.
