Longevity and diversity are two words to associate with Rick Rubin as many look at him as the Yoda of production. He was first spotted in Jay Z’s Samsung commercials for MCHG, and although he wasn’t credited on the album, it speaks volumes that Jay recruited him simply for his ear. His name would first be tagged on Kanye West’s Yeezus album, and once more on Eminem’s Marshall Mathers LP 2.
