The Kooks have remained rather quiet since their third studio album was released back in 2011, but today they decide to end their hiatus by premiering an offering with BBC Radio 1. Courtesy of Zane Lowe and his hottest record segment, the UK band showcase a refreshing style of sound with their latest single titled “Down,” with Luke Pritchard rightfully taking charge of the lead vocals, yet above a throwback sound. Their Down EP will be available to purchase on April 20th via Virgin Records.
