Last night was the season 39 finale of NBC;s Saturday Night Live. Former long-time cast member and star of FOX’s new hit-comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Andy Samberg made his return to the show, this time as a host. Before the show began, Samberg joked about his tenure at SNL being focused on only digital shorts and sadly broke the news to fans that Justin Timberlake was not there to partake in the festivities. One of the standout shorts was the return of his comedy music group, The Lonely Island for their skit HUGS.
