When we mentioned that the Menahan Street Band were sampled in some of the biggest songs, we weren’t over-exaggerating at all. Almost six years ago, Jay-Z released the second single from his American Gangster album titled “Roc Boys (And The Winner Is),” which contained a sample from the group’s “Make The Road Walking” track. Diddy, LV and Sean C knew exactly what they were doing on the production for this one.
