Their second album Do You Want More?!!!??! acted as their major label debut, arriving just two years after their previous effort. The offering was another demonstration of the famous jazz influence in their sound, and further cemented their place as one of hip-hop leaders to many critics far and wide.
A notable standout on the album was a single titled “Mellow My Man,” one of many songs that fans of The Roots will remember for its incredible chorus alone. Though the name of the track pretty much gave a brief description of what to expect, there was plenty to note down over the near five-minute piece of work.
