One week following the release of their single “When the People Cheer,” legendary Philadelphia collective The Roots has unveiled the official album art for their forthcoming LP. The group’s upcoming eleventh studio album …And Then You Shoot Your Cousin has been scheduled for a release date of May 13th via Def Jam Recordings and will be conceptual in compression to previous efforts. Known for bringing some realness into the game, the crew will be spreading some knowledge this time around (in comparison to the 2011-effort undun) in not only violence in hip hop but American society overall.
