With joining Jimmy Fallon for The Tonight Show on NBC a few months back, GRAMMY-award winning collective The Roots have been juggling their return to solo music. The group’s long-awaited eleventh studio album …And Then You Shoot Your Cousin will finally be releasing later this year. In comparison to previous efforts How I Got Over and Undun, the new project is expected to be a concept album in the storytelling affair. The first offering from the Philly super-group released today with “When The People Cheer” with verses from members Black Though and Greg Porn.
