It’s been over two years since The Roots dropped their last album …And Then You Shoot Your Cousin, but the good news is, they’re working on the follow-up as we speak. Questlove took to Instagram this week to announce that the title of the next Roots album is End Game.
“In 1996 w our 3rd album #IlladelphHalflife we decided to be our own sampling source and jam in the day and sample ourselves at night” he says alongside a couple video clips. “20 years later we are working on our 17th album entitled #Endgame….& we startin all over again.”
