Wale – 90210
Much has changed since Wale became the latest member of Maybach Music Group back in 2011. Two years before the deal was finalized, the D.C. artist released his debut album Attention Deficit, and Mr. Folarin was guided a favorable studio entry with help from the likes of Dave Sitek, Best Kept Secret and of course, Mark Ronson. One of the record’s most intimate cuts was the Ronson-produced “90210,” managing to echo the identity Wale was aiming for, although keeping the production to a minimum.
