Daniel Merriweather – Red
One of Mark Ronson’s most valuable collaborations became obvious with Daniel Merriweather in 2009, who joined forces with the singer to handle his debut album Love & War. Even though the project included star guest features from Wale and Adele, the permissive “Red” is arguably his biggest song to date, and was a proven success by managing to enter the top five on the UK singles chart. The singer’s curation of R&B and soul is something many only aspire to achieve, even if he has been out of action for some time.
