Nas – Fried Chicken (feat. Busta Rhymes)
Even as one of the most consistent faces in hip-hop, picking up from the strength of Hip Hop Is Dead is a hard act to follow. Nas’ ninth studio effort may not be the most memorable of his career, but the New York heavyweight did connect with Mark Ronson on “Fried Chicken,” which also featured fellow city native Busta Rhymes. Appearing to be somewhat of a triumphant track, Ronson laid down the backdrop for both artists to speak on a metaphorical level, with the additional touch of jazz turning out to be strong piece of the instrumental as a whole.
