With $ign Language dropping next week, Ty Dolla $ign liberated a new track, Lord Knows featuring Dom Kennedy & Rick Ross. TI & Lauren Hill both released tracks inspired by the fatal police shooting of an unarmed teen & ongoing protests in St. Louis suburb, Ferguson. Wiz Khalifa’s Blacc Hollywood is available everywhere but Target’s deluxe edition has 3 additional tracks including On Me featuring Jeezy. Travi$ Scott & Troy Ave both dropped their new mixtapes while Guy Gerber and Puff Daddy dropped their collaborative EDM album 11 11. Those not aware of Puff’s fondness for house music should definitely check the album’s documentary below for another side of the music mogul.
Supreme released their Fall/Winter lineup which includes a t-shirt paying homage to legendary hip-hop artist, KRS-One. Steve-O takes a stand for Shamu & Wiz explains how to throw a proper house party. HBO debuted a new Katt Williams special Priceless and we provide our favorite highlights. Breaking Bad stars join Elaine from Seinfeld in a hilarious Emmys promo skit entitled Barely Legal Pawn.
It was quite an eventful week in sports for the Sixth City. In a stunning three team trade, Kevin Love joins LeBron James in the Cavaliers starting lineup next season. In other Cleveland news, Johnny Football gets fined for flipping off Washington’s bench and loses the starting QB slot for the Browns. Speaking of the NFL, the coveted Super Bowl half-time performance slot is now up for bids to a small circle of superstars. We are very curious to see how this unfolds in the coming weeks.
We’re also including some gamings news this week. XBOX One previews a fall system update and GTA Online members get a new San Andreas Flight School update. Fans of the Metal Gear Solid franchise will not want to miss the 22-minute multiplayer gameplay footage released this week.
