One thing about The Weeknd we can appreciate is he puts throught into his videos and they always some sort of theme or storyline. This one is out of an 80s movie, not only in the feel of the video, but the song as well. It looks like “In The Night” is being used as an official single from Beauty Behind The Madness and much like Tyga, Abel is featuring his love interest heavy in a visual. The only question is how much more of Bella Hadid we will see in future clips.
For this one, she’s a stripper who escapes the grasp of an asshole by stabbing him in the neck. Then she turns into a trained assassin when The Weeknd finds himself at gun point, as she comes to the rescue with a lazer shot to the head from long range.
The two then skip away on the motorcycle into the sunset.
