Mind of a Genius has been taking over of late, with the likes of Gallant, ZHU, Klangstof and the latest addition, Kwaye, laying down their sound. Another is Los Angeles duo THEY., who just released their debut album Nü Religion: HYENA this past February. Today, they’re back with a video for the single “Deep End,” with director Ze’ev Waismann capturing Dante Jones and Drew Love on a moody drive.
“We wanted to capture the feelings you get from listening to the song from a stylistic standpoint with the vintage leather and the vintage muscle car,” they say about the video. “Beyond that, the comparison of the wolf and the female is the most important — the wolf disguised as a woman is a representation of the vices of the weekend.”
