Watch Tink’s debut breakfast club interview
Along with Bryson Tiller, one of the years most talked about new artists under the Timbaland umbrella is Chicago rapper Tink. The 20-year-old made her visit earlier today to The World’s Most Dangerous Morning Show, The Breakfast Club to discuss her early career movements. With her new music visual “Ratchet Commandments” still fresh in the minds of listeners, Tink opened up with the reasoning for her background and how she got her name. She went to discuss how she met Timbaland (her biggest music dream) and instantly hitting the studio with him to create organic sounds in comparison to her previous drill music sounds from a few years ago.
Watch more from the interview where she talks about her Chicago background, Lauryn Hill comparisons, Missy Elliot being the only other female emcee to reach out and a freestyle.
