We just got put on to the sounds of TOBi with his “City Blues” video and we figured we’d share them with you. He’s a singer/rapper from Toronto that made some breakthroughs last year when his single was featured on HBO’s Insecure and now wants to continue gaining buzz by releasing a project. His first taste of that is this video and in the clip, he’s singing on the subway platform and outside under the cloudy skies.
The record was inspired by the classic Marvin Gaye “Inner City Blues,” with his debut album due out later this year. Put yourself on to him with the video above.
