We’re loving these Mass Appeal “Off The Wall” segments, especially because we get to know a little more about some of our favorite artists we grew up with. For the latest, Too $hort breaks down a few of his favorite things (movies, random music in his iPod, artists that inspired him, etc.) Most interestingly, was his break down of what he wanted to be before rap. We weren’t expecting him to say a marching band member.
Funny enough, even after he was buzzing in the streets, his mom found one of his rhyme books and ended up writing him a 7-page letter asking him what was going on. With parents as accountants, they were shocked to find out that $hort Dog was a player.
Peep the full interview after the jump.
