Travis Scott Sued for Over 2 Billion For ASTROWORLD Tragedy

Travis Scott is making that money, but we’re not sure how he’ll be able to afford to pay a $2 billion dollar lawsuit, if found liable for the tragedy.

An attorney representing more than 200 alleged victims in the tragedy at the Astroworld Festival this year has filed a lawsuit against Travis, Drake, Live Nation and NRG Park.

The lawsuit claims that fans were “incited into a frenzy” during La Flame’s performance, which triggered the crowd surge towards the main stage. As we all know, this caused the trampling, crushing and death of festivalgoers. It also blames organizers for not taking safety concerns from Astroworld 2019 into account when planning this year’s event.

The filing made on behalf of 280 people says:

“The Defendants stood to make an exorbitant amount of money of this event, yet they chose to cut corners, cut costs, and put the festival attendees at risk.”

The November 5 tragedy has left 10 dead, hundreds injured and seen at least 140 lawsuits as a result.

This just adds to a week where a $750 million dollar lawsuit was filed on behalf of 125 Astroworld victims, including Axel Acosta, who died at the event.

Those pockets better be deep because money will be paid eventually.
