Tru-Life talks current status with JAY-Z in his first official interview off probation. During 2018, Tru Life was slowly developing buzz back to having singles chart. With Future’s Freebandz imprint backing him, Lizzy da Kid also had help from Rick Ross on a music video that drew attention.
Unfortunately,his career was stopped, when he couldn’t travel and properly promote material in the south. Largely in part to his parole officer, Tru was forced to say in the confines of New York and New Jersey. However, earlier this year, he got off paperwork and became a free man for the first time in over 13 years.
Since that time, he’s been traveling the country and seeing parts of the world for the first time in private planes. Below, he gives his first interview off paperwork, including sharing details on his status with Jay-Z and why he stopped rapping.
