If you checked out the tracklist to Tyga’s album Hotel California, there’s no way you missed the fact that he has a track on there with Jadakiss and 2pac titled “Hit ‘Em Up.” Although he tells MTV that the song is all original and not a remake of the classic diss track, he does not quite reveal how the late ‘Pac is incorporated into the record. From what he hints at, it’s only right that there will be shots fired on wax. But at who?
Seems like Tyga is really channeling the spirit of ’90s Death Row records, making this the second record that is reminiscent of that era of West Coast gangsta music.
We’ll give you the verdict of the track on April 9 when Hotel California drops.
