Under The Radar Songs Kendrick Lamar Should Remix

kendricklamar

For the record, Kendrick Lamar remixing any records (or doing features) doesn’t happen too often. It’s actually rare to see him spit a verse over someone else’s song, that’s why people go so crazy over them. His lack of appearances besides those on projects from TDE members are events now, especially when it’s been two years since he’s blessed people with a studio album.

We actually had a number of different songs on here (some from buzzing artists), but after watching him explain why he made his single “I,” we realized: Even if we actually wanted to hear it, that’s not Kendrick’s vibe. He’s lowkey. He doesn’t like doing what other people do. The only lane he travels in is his own. He’s not about following trends or fitting into the “norm.” It wouldn’t make sense if he jumped on records like “U Guessed It” or “Try Me.”

So we scrapped some suggestions and added songs that only a few people are listening to. Soulful shit that actually has emotion behind it. Under the radar artists that you’re probably not listening to. Older shit from the year you probably slept on.

Yeah, the chances of K Dot jumping on any of these records is slim to none, but we wouldn’t doubt if he has a couple of these artists on his iPod already.

And if he doesn’t, we’re here to put him on.
