On Thursday gossip columnists Rush & Molloy reported Ashanti was in talks with 50 Cent to possibly join G-Unit. Supposedly Ashanti is tight that Irv confirmed rumors of a sexual relationship between them back when Irv was still married.
A Universal Records rep told Vibe this rumor is false and the singer will remain on The Inc. Records/Universal Motown. Ashanti being very upset doesn’t sound too far fetched, but I doubt she will be able to get off The Inc. Otherwise, we would have seen that departure many moons ago.
Who knows though, you know what they say about a woman scorned… Let’s just hope we don’t ever have to hear any Nelly / Irv diss songs.
