The process of Vampire Weekend putting together their new album differed largely to their previous two. The band decided to have no set date to finish the project, which gave them the chance to perfect their art to their own professional standards. As well as linking with outside producer Ariel Rechtshaid for the first time, their third album Modern Vampires Of The City happens to be the first we’ve heard in three years, and is now available to stream in full. The 12-track body of work offers sheer continuity that we could only expect from the New York-based collective, and will be available to purchase on May 14th via XL Recordings.
Stream and pre-order the entire album on iTunes.
