Just last month, Vic Mensa dropped a music video for “16 Shots” from his latest EP, There’s Alot Going On. Last night, the Chicago rapper paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! for a powerful performance of the track, where he was joined by Travis Barker on the drums. The performance involved spitting acapella and people in riot gear attacking him.
At the end, he stops the music for a speech about the police and presidential election. “I’m a young black man from Chicago and I’m tired of not being able to trust the police,” he said. “So you gotta get out and vote against hate, because Donald Trump is a racist and if you don’t vote, racism wins.”
