Earlier today, Vic Mensa stopped by Beats 1 Radio on Apple Music to premiere the first single “16 Shots,” off his upcoming mixtape, There’s A Lot Going On. After explaining the background behind the track with Ebro Darden, where he sheds light on the unfortunate death of Laquan Mcdonald and the cop who shot him currently standing trial for first-degree murder – the Southside Chicago rapper is bringing attention to all minorities that feel in danger from the law.
Some of you may remember him premiering the track at the Justice for Flint fundraiser last February, but look for it to appear on the T.A.L.G.O. project tomorrow .
