Vic Mensa is never afraid to try something different, and that’s the case with his latest project. The Chicago rapper is putting hip-hop aside for a moment for his new punk band 93PUNX and its self-titled album.
Out on Roc Nation, the new project is made up 14 tracks, with features coming from Good Charlotte, Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, Francis and the Lights, Blink-182’s Travis Barker and Loko Wit Tha Mask. Vic may have been in a band before (Kids These Days), but this is something way outside of the box.
