Vic Mensa performs at #JUSTICEFORFINT
Still waiting on that Vic Mensa debut album, Traffic? Well, the Roc Nation rapper made a trip from the CHI to Detroit on Sunday to help raise money at Ryan Coogler’s #JusticeForFlint event.
With the city of Flint suffering from a water crisis, Vic wanted to debut his new socially-conscious and politically-driven single “16 Shots.” The track, which is dedicated to Laquan McDonald, who was shot 16 times by Chicago officers sees Mensa venting his frustration with the legal system his cohorts have had to endure over the years – including Bobby Shmurda.
While an official release for the track wasn’t announced, take a look at the performance above.
