Earlier today, Vince Staples filled in for Zane Lowe as the host of his Beats 1 show. However, that’s just the start of bigger things to come from the Long Beach rapper.
Vince has announced his very own Beats 1 show titled S E A B S, also known as Section Eight Arthouse Broadcast System. “S E A B S” will be a “pirate radio-style broadcast full of music and interviews curated by Vince and designated to illuminate and distract the mind,” says a press release. The first episode airs this Sunday at 6pm EST, with future episodes going out on the third Thursday of the month.
