We weren’t expecting a Vince Staples and DJ Mustard single to kick off the week (much less on Valentine’s Day), but the Long Beach rapper has it for us. Not to mention, this is the jump start of his Ramona Park Broke My Heart album campaign. The upcoming album is due out in April and was recorded around the same time as his self-titled project from last year and should make more sense to fans if they listened to the last one.
Here’s what he said about his upcoming effort:
“It’s symbolic of home. And everyone has a home. Even though it’s very personal to me, everyone can relate to it. That’s why I thought it would work for this chapter.”
