‘Prima Donna’ Soon Come!
Vince Staples teased his next project Prima Donna a few weeks back, and now the EP has a release date. Prima Donna will arrive August 26th according to a press release, and will feature A$AP Rocky and Kilo Kish, and feature production from DJ Dahi, James Blake, and No I.D. The EP will feature 6 tracks in total.
To go along with the EP, Vince is also dropping an accompanying short film directed by Nabil. If you’re not familiar Nabil has worked with Kanye West, Frank Ocean and countless others. There’s no word on what the film will cover, but expect details to emerge soon.
Prima Donna will be the first project from Staples since his debut album Summertime ’06, which was released a year ago in 2015. The album went on to become critically acclaimed and further Vince’s name in west coast rap. Be on the lookout for more details surrounding the album and short film to surface.
