We caught the comments hating on Vince Staples last time because the Long Beach boy gave his thoughts on some of the shit that happened this year in rap music, but we’re curious to see what those same folks will say about this interview with CNN.
Aside from what you previously thought, Vince is dropping a few gems of knowledge on the youngn’s of the world and is actually pushing a positive message. From why rap has gone from the drug dealers to drug users phenomenon and why the school system makes it harder for kids to finish after multiple suspensions, VS has been reading up on statistics. He also gives his two cents on conscious rap in the beginning of the clip, but he didn’t touch too much on it.
Staples knows how to ruffle feathers, but he still spits game if you’re listening.
