First thing’s first. Let’s just go ahead and confess how much we are stans of the Jalen Rose and David Jacoby podcast on Grantland. We listen to it religiously every week, even when they do two of them. If you have no idea what we’re talking about, go venture off into Youtube and check out some of their past episodes. They mostly talk about basketball related news and rumors, but Jalen stays dropping gems and even dishes out insider info about shit that’s going on within the NBA.
To switch things up a bit from their usual shows, Jalen and Jacoby started doing their “Pop The Trunk” segments on Fridays and wanted to salute Hip-Hop by doing a bracket full of the most legendary groups to ever exist. They asked for the fans’ input, sorted through qualifications and then came up with who would participate.
Now it’s time to reveal the seedings and vote!
Although you may not agree with all of the seedings (much like the NCAA Tournament bracket), it doesn’t matter. It’s your job to vote on your favorite groups that made the list. Log on to Jalen & Jacoby’s website to cast your vote and make sure your favorite groups don’t go home packing in the first round. We can guarantee, we did.
