Odd Future affiliate Hal Williams has been putting out projects for years on Stones Throw under the name of Pyramid Vritra, but now he’s decided to lose the first name and simply go by Vritra. For his new project Yellowing — written, recorded and produced by himself — he strings together woozy hip-hop over 11 tracks. It’s the first of two albums Vritra will release in 2016 on NRK / The Order Label.
