FLOCKA!
With the upcoming Pixels movie due out next month, Sony Pictures is using music from the soundtrack to promote the film. They have enlisted the unlikely pairing of Waka Flocka and Good Charlotte for “Game On” as their first single, using sounds from Pac-Man and Donkey Kong for the backdrop to the track. The movie is about 1980’s video games that come to life thanks to aliens to kill everyone on earth, so it makes sense why they patterned the song after the classic titles.
Pixels hit theaters nationwide on July 24 and stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Michelle Monaghan, and Ashley Benson.
