We guess the third times a charm so to speak, as Wale has finally debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with his new album The Gifted.” Wale’s The Gifted moved over 158,000 units in its first week; down from his 2011 album “Ambition” that sold over 164,000 and peaked at No. 2 below Justin Bieber’s “Under The Mistletoe” which sold 210,000.

Highlighted by hit-singles Bad,” “LoveHate Thing and the soon to be strip club anthem Clappers with Nicki Minaj & Juicy J; we’re glad Wale’s finally has finally achieved number one honors on the biggest stage.

In an interesting note, Kanye West and J. Cole’s second week album sales have arrived; with “Yeezus seeing an 80% decrease in sales moving 65,000 (previously 327,000). J. Cole, who debuted at no. 2 last week for Born Sinner selling 297,000; managed to maintain his position outselling Kanye this week with 84,000 (down 72%).
