With New York City in single digit weather for the week, the music world has traveled out west to some warm weather this winter of the 58th Annual Grammy Awards. With LL Cool J hosting the annual event at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California – story of the night is how many awards Kendrick Lamar will walk away. The Compton rapper was nominated for 11 total awards; one shy of Michael Jackson’s overall 1984 record, and is almost a guaranteed lock to walk away with several career achievements tonight. Taylor Swift and The Weeknd are directly behind him with seven noms each, as the nearly four-hour telecast will go down in just a matter of minutes.
