Considering 2001 was still fresh in people’s minds at the time this dropped, the myth of DETOX was barely beginning to take form. If we could think of a radio track with that player sound, “Outta Control” sounds like it’s it. The only difference would be the cast. Tha Dogg Pound and Warren G would probably make better cameo for the album.
