What’s Your Favorite Track From Jay-Z’s “Magna Carta Holy Grail” Album?

Billboard made an exception, the RIAA changed a rule, and a million sold before the album dropped? Who else but who, Jay-Z.

Magna Carta Holy Grail marks not only a milestone for Hov, but somewhat of a new beginning for music. In a time where Hip-Hop album sales are slowly, but surely, regaining momentum, they still have yet to be what they were almost a decade ago. Enter, Shawn Corey Carter. Alongside Swizz Beats, Pharrell Williams, Rick Rubin, and even reuniting with longtime friend and producer, Timbaland, Hov has gone on to show exactly what he meant by “new rules”. Not only a new album for Jay, but it appears to be a new atmosphere, as he shows vulnerability in songs like “Jay-Z Blue” and “Nickels And Dimes”, but still lets you know what time it is for the Brooklyn emcee, laying down records such as “Crown”, “Heaven”, and the short but sweet, “Beach Is Better”.

But don’t let us tell you. You’ve probably already heard it for yourself. Check out our favorite records after the jump and let us know what yours are in the comments!
