A Christmas Gift from Will Butler
Arcade Fire member Will Butler finally kicked off his solo career in 2015 with the release of his debut album Policy. To cap off the year, he’s back with his very own Christmas song called “City on a Hill,” except it’s not entirely full of the festive cheer. With lines like “fuck off, I’m not gonna die from a terrorist bullet or from radical spy, I could die in a car crash tonight or from a lightning strike or a meteorite,” it’s fair to say thoughts are just a little gloomy this fall.
