2013 marked the 40th anniversary of hip-hop dating back to 1973. Magazine, XXL decided to release an official celebratory issue, featuring the top 10 most important albums and songs in hip-hop. The issue features five collector’s edition tribute covers with JAY Z, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, OutKast & LL Cool J. Jigga’s featured above, but after the jump you can view the other 4 covers and look for the 40th anniversary magazine on newsstands December 31st.
