It’s kind of shocking Eminem and Yelawolf haven’t linked up for an entire EP, because it’s apparent on “Best Friend” that these two are almost like brothers on wax. We all know Yela can speed up to the flow to Slim Shady speed, but on this one, he keeps things calm while Em builds up for his verse. By the end of it, he’s coming abrasive and damn near screaming. The two are spitting honesty on it too, with Marshall drawing plenty of emotion and speaking on his best friend Proof.
Yelawolf’s Love Story album drops on Interscope on April 21.
