Still Brazy on the way!

Last week YG formally revealed he was releasing his official sophomore album, Still Brazy, this June 17th. Following an album-title single release, as well as his Drake-assisted Why You Always Hatin? – the Los Angeles rapper is in the home stretch of promoting his upcoming project.

In a recent interview with LA Weekly, Mr. 4 Hunnid confirmed twice that DJ Mustard would unfortunately not be on the album – citing the two are in completely different music paths.

While he did confirm that the two are on great terms outside of the business, YG opened up on how he was essentially pressured into releasing his original debut album, My Krazy Life.

He went to say, “I was telling my people that I wasn’t putting out an album. Def Jam was always trying to get me to put out an album because I had “Toot It and Boot It.” They were trying to get me to turn in shit. I wasn’t going for it because I felt like I wasn’t ready for an album.”

However, with releases of Just Re’d Up, 4 Hunnid Degreez, and Just Re’d Up 2, he had no choice but to take advantage of his mainstream success, after the CTE street classic, “My Nigga.”
