We’re suckers for that funk, considering we grew up with that influence. Luckily, Young Futura is here to satisfy our ears with some of that two-step music. The duo consists of Washington DC’s Young Prince and French producer Futura (hence, the name) and before they drop their Future Funk EP, they have shared their new single “Wallflower.” They take the classic saying ‘get your back off the wall‘ from the OG’s Kool & the Gang on “Get Down On It” and bring it back to the new generation. The tune is also featured on Forza 4, if you play racing video games.
