Young Jeezy with cigars and Styrofoam CTE cups handy, sat-down with RevoltTV for an exclusive interview. In the video above, Jeezy discusses motivation he uses from the streets, peers and corporate world to make authentic music for his movement.
Both Michael Phelps and Serena Williams have publicly stated that Jeezy controls most of their playlists when they’re practicing for events and he uses their work ethic as well for his grind. The clip closes out with a brief discussion on his recent “Boss Yo Life Up Gang” mixtape. His peers were questioning why he gave the mixtape away for free in comparison to selling it retail. Jeezy cited a past similar situation where he released the classic “Streets is Watching” mixtape back in 2004 and said his next release would be even better, being “Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101.”
