Ever since Trevor Powers aka Youth Lagoon released his mysterious debut album titled The Year Of Hibernation back in 2011, it’s fair to say that plenty of attention has been pointing in his direction. Just two weeks ago we were able to listen to a track by the name of “Mute” from the project, but now we finally get to listen to his brand new sophomore album in its entirety. Continuing his strength of portraying a psychedelic/lo-fi sound, Wondrous Bughouse could easily be counted as his greatest work to date. You’ll find that even when his voice isn’t heard on a song, the emotionally charged production will steer you into a feeling of all-around goodness.
