We’re going on almost three years since we’ve heard anything from Yuna after she released her album Chapters in 2016 so it’s always refreshing to hear something new from her. Today she returns to the scene with a video for “Forevermore,” a new single off what we can assume is a new album coming this year. The visual takes things to her home country of Malaysia, as she shows how it was for her growing up there, but through a more artistic lens. The entire clip was shot in Kuala Lumpur and Perlis, which is the northern most part right by Thailand. Her goal for the video is to show the simple things in life, which is how this part of the country operates, away from mass media, Western ideals or advertisements bombarding every part of life. It’s just life in the country with beautiful scenery.
