We were surprised Zendaya didn’t pop like she should have when she released her last album, but it’s looking like it might just happen the second time around. “Something New” has the sound of that new age R&B, with a hint of the music we grew up listening. If you listen to the Chris Brown assisted single, you will hear TLC‘s “Creep” sampled, as well as part of the melody from the original being sung on Breezy’s verse.
The track premiered on radio today and will be hitting iTunes this Friday.
